This policy explains how RAINBOW TREE LLC (“we”) handles information in the iOS app “Save Places: Want-to-Go List” (Japanese name: かんたん行きたいリスト). It matches Settings → Your Data in the app.
Your places, lists and Inbox are kept only on this iPhone and in your iCloud. There is no sign-up. Nothing is stored on our servers.
Your places, lists and Inbox (links to shared posts, a copy of their text and thumbnails) are kept only on this iPhone and in your iCloud (across devices with the same Apple Account). A daily backup is also kept on this iPhone. Nothing is stored on our servers.
Your iPhone fetches the text of a shared post directly from the site (Instagram, TikTok, Google Maps, etc.), not through our servers. Place names are read on your iPhone. Places are looked up with Apple Maps.
Used only to sort places by distance from where you are in “Nearby” and to show where you are on the map. Your location never leaves your iPhone. Without it, places are sorted from the center of the map.
When you share a list, the people you share it with can see the list and its places (including links to the original posts and the start of their text). Your Inbox isn’t shared. Sharing uses Apple’s iCloud. Anyone with the link can open it, so be careful who you send it to.
To improve the app, we collect how it is used — such as screens opened, places added and whether reading a post worked — as counts and types only. Post text, place names, URLs and locations are never included. We do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA).
When the app crashes, the device model, OS version, app version and where it crashed are sent. They are used only to fix bugs.
The text and type of a message you send from Contact Us are sent to our support desk and stored so we can reply. To deliver replies, an identifier assigned to each device that installs the app is used.
There are no ads. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Pro purchases are processed by the App Store (Apple). We never receive payment details such as card numbers.
Information sent to us is used only to improve the app, fix bugs and reply to messages. We do not share it with third parties except as required by law.
