BP Book Privacy Policy

This policy explains how RAINBOW TREE LLC ("we") handles information in the iOS app "BP Book: Blood Pressure Log" ("the App").

The most important part
Your records (blood pressure, pulse, medicine marks, notes, names and visit dates) are stored only on your device. They are never sent to our servers. No account is needed, and nothing is stored in iCloud.

1. Information we receive

The App sends only these three things off your device.

The statistics and crash diagnostics never include the content of your records (blood pressure, pulse, medicine marks, notes or names). Only counts, such as how many times an action was used, are sent.

2. What never leaves your device

Your records (blood pressure, pulse, medicine marks, notes, names, visit dates)
Values read from Health (blood pressure and pulse)
Camera images (they are not saved either)
The sheet for your doctor (PDF), CSV and backup files (you export them and choose where to save or share them)

4. Device features

Health (HealthKit): Only when you connect in Settings > Health (read & write), blood pressure and pulse are read from the Health app on your iPhone, and the blood pressure and pulse you add in the App are written to Health. Only the connected person's records are read or written. Values read are used only on this device, never sent to us or any third party, and never used for ads.
Camera: Used only to read the numbers shown on your own blood pressure monitor. Images are not saved and not sent anywhere. A reading becomes a record only when you tap [Save] on the check screen.
Notifications: Used for morning and evening reminders and a reminder on the evening before a doctor visit. The App works without them.

5. Ads and tracking

The App shows no ads. We do not collect information for advertising or track you across other companies' apps and websites, so the App never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission.

6. Health information

The App is a logbook for recording the readings you take at home and showing them at your doctor visit. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice, and it does not judge your values. The App itself does not take blood pressure readings (it reads your own monitor's display, or you enter values by hand). If anything concerns you, please talk to your doctor.

7. Payments

In-app purchases (Pro, a one-time purchase) are processed by Apple. We never receive your card number or other payment details.

8. Retention and deletion

Your records are on your device and are deleted when you delete the App (values written to Health stay in Health; you can delete them in the Health app).
Messages you send are kept to reply and improve the App. To have them deleted, contact us below.
Statistics and crash diagnostics are kept according to Firebase's retention periods.

9. Sharing with third parties

We do not share information with third parties except as required by law.

10. Children

The App is not directed at any particular age group, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

Changes will be posted on this page. Important changes will also be announced in the App.
