Glucose Logbook Privacy Policy

This policy describes how RAINBOW TREE LLC ("we") handles information in the iOS app "Glucose Logbook" (the "App").

The most important point
Your records (blood glucose, insulin doses, blood pressure, weight, steps, notes and the names of the people you log for) are stored only on your device. They are never sent to our servers. No account is needed, and nothing is stored in iCloud.

1. Information we receive

The App sends only these three things off your device.

The statistics and diagnostics never include the content of your records (blood glucose, insulin doses, blood pressure, weight, steps, notes or names). Only counts, such as how many times an action was performed, are sent.

The App does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice, and does not calculate or recommend insulin doses.

2. What never leaves your device

Your records (blood glucose, insulin doses, blood pressure, weight, steps, notes, names)
Values read from the Health app (steps, weight, blood pressure)
Backup files, the sheet for your doctor (PDF) and CSV files, which you export and save or share yourself

4. Device features

Health (HealthKit): Only if you choose to import in Settings > Health, the App reads steps, weight and blood pressure to fill those columns of your log sheet. The App never writes to Health and never reads blood glucose. The values are used only on your device; they are never sent to us or anyone else and are never used for advertising.
Notifications: Used for reminders at your reading times and on the evening before appointments. Logging and exporting work without them.

5. Ads and tracking

The App shows no ads. It does not collect information for advertising or track you across other companies' apps and websites, so it never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission.

6. Payments

In-app purchases (the one-time Pro purchase) are processed by Apple. We never receive payment information such as card numbers.

7. Retention and deletion

Your records are on your device. Deleting the App deletes them.
Messages you send us are kept to answer them and improve our service. To have them deleted, contact us as described below.
Statistics and diagnostics are kept according to Firebase's retention periods.

8. Disclosure to third parties

We do not provide the information we receive to third parties, except as required by law.

9. Children

The App is not directed at any particular age group and does not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page. Important changes will also be announced in the App.
