Mono Splash — Privacy Policy
RAINBOW TREE LLC ("we", "us") sets out below how it handles user information in the iOS app "Mono Splash" (Japanese name: かんたん白黒加工) (the "App").
Effective date: July 24, 2026
日本語版: プライバシーポリシー(日本語)
1. Core principle
The App can be used without creating an account. All image processing — black & white conversion, color splash (keeping one color), inversion, and so on — happens entirely on your iPhone. Your photos themselves are never sent to or stored on our servers or the internet.
2. Photo access
When you choose a photo, the App uses the iOS photo picker, so it does not request access to your entire photo library. We ask for "Add to Photos" permission only when you save an edited image.
3. Information we obtain
The App's core features do not collect or transmit your photos or personal information. However, when you use the free version we obtain the following for advertising and quality improvement, and — only if you contact us — to reply to your inquiry. None of this includes the content of your photos.
- Advertising (Google AdMob)
Advertising identifiers (such as IDFA), approximate location (country/region derived from IP address), and information about ad impressions and interactions. The free version shows a banner ad at the bottom of the screen and, occasionally (for example after saving), a full-screen ad. Use of the identifier for personalized ads can be declined via the device's "Allow tracking?" (ATT) prompt (ads are still shown if you decline — they are simply not personalized). - Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics)
Anonymous usage information such as which screens and features are used, and an anonymous device identifier. This does not include your photos or information that identifies you personally. - Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
Technical information when the App terminates unexpectedly (device model, OS version, location in the code, etc.), used to fix defects. - Inquiries (in-app support)
Only if you use the in-app "Contact / Inquiry" feature, the text of your message and an anonymous device-linked identifier are stored on our support server so that we can reply. No name, email address, or other registration is required.
4. Purposes of use
- Displaying ads and measuring ad performance (AdMob)
- Understanding usage and improving quality and usability (Firebase Analytics)
- Detecting and fixing defects (Firebase Crashlytics)
- Replying to and handling your inquiries
5. Provision to third parties
The advertising, analytics, and crash information in Section 3 is sent through the respective SDKs to Google LLC and handled in accordance with its privacy policy. We do not sell user information.

6. Purchase information
The "Pro (one-time purchase)" is processed through Apple's App Store. We do not obtain your credit card or other payment information.
7. Your choices
- Stop tracking: You can decline via "Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking" on your device.
- Remove ads: Purchasing "Pro (one-time)" in the App removes both banner and full-screen ads entirely.
- Reset advertising identifier: This can be done via "Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising" on your device.
8. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at any particular age group, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy in response to changes in law or the addition of features. We will announce significant changes in the App or on this page.
10. Contact
For privacy inquiries about the App, please contact us via "Settings > Contact" inside the App. We will reply to you directly.
