Road Order Privacy Policy

This policy explains how RAINBOW TREE LLC ("we") handles information in the iOS app "Road Order" (Japanese name: かんたん配達ルート, "the App").

The most important points
Recipient addresses, names, notes, your delivery sheet, saved routes and records are stored only on your iPhone. They are never sent to our servers and are not synced with iCloud. No account is needed.
Address text and locations are sent to Apple Maps (Apple Inc.) to look up places and road travel times. Only the street address and location are sent; building names, apartment or unit numbers and recipient names are not.

1. Information we receive

The App sends only the following three kinds of information to us or our service providers.

These statistics and diagnostics never include addresses, recipient names, notes or locations. Only numbers such as counts, shares and distances are sent.

2. What goes to Apple Maps and your navigation app

Apple Maps (Apple Inc.): the addresses you add (the street address only; building names, unit numbers and names are removed) and the location of your start point (depot or current location) are sent to look up places and road travel times. Apple handles them under the Apple Privacy Policy.
Your navigation app: when you tap Navigate, the next stop is handed to Apple Maps, or to the Google Maps app if you chose it in Settings. Only the destination's location (latitude and longitude) is passed to Google Maps — never the address text or names.

3. What stays on your iPhone

Recipient names, notes, time windows and stop status (Done, Not Home, Returned), and your delivery sheet
Saved routes (days and customers), records, corrected pins (remembered locations) and cached travel times
Photos of shipping labels (text is read on your iPhone; photos are never saved or sent)
CSV and backup files of your records (you export them yourself and choose where to save or share them; backups are encrypted with your password)

Like other apps' data, this data is included in a full backup of your iPhone (iCloud Backup or a computer backup).

5. Device features

Location (While Using only): used only to set "Current Location" as your start point and to re-arrange the rest of your stops from where you are. Never used in the background, and never sent to us.
Camera: used only to photograph the SHIP TO section of a shipping label and read the address. Photos are processed on your iPhone only.
Photos: used only when you pick a saved photo of a label to read (only the photo you pick is read).

6. Ads and tracking

The App shows no ads. We don't collect information for advertising or track you across other companies' apps and websites, so the App never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission.

7. Driving

The App does not provide turn-by-turn directions. Travel times are Apple Maps estimates and change with road conditions. Don't use the App while driving; operate it only after you've stopped.

8. Payments

Pro purchases and restores are handled by Apple (App Store). We never receive credit card numbers or other payment information.

9. Retention and deletion

Your delivery sheet, saved routes and records stay on your iPhone. The App never deletes them automatically; you can delete them yourself. Deleting the App deletes them as well.
Inquiries are kept to answer you and improve quality. To have them deleted, contact us as described below.
Statistics and diagnostics are kept according to Firebase's retention periods.

10. Disclosure to third parties

We don't provide the information we receive to third parties except as required by law.

11. Children

The App is not directed at any particular age group, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

Changes will be posted on this page. Important changes will also be announced in the App.
